The World Cup 2006 England

Apologies for my lack of posting of late, but I have been rather preoccupied with some business dealings of late!
The world cup has started, whether this is a good thing or not, i have mixed feelings. Economically, it is a disastrous event with millions of pounds being lost for every match played, due to people pulling 'sickies', talking about the football while they should be working etc. etc. This is obviously a bad thing, on the other hand though, it unifies England, bringing people together in a united cause that is England's possible success.

Given the current oil situations and worrying about global warming i think it is horrendous how several politicians (I shall not mention names) feel they should also put flags on their cars! They have been proven to reduce efficiency, increase drag, and so uses extra fuel, as if prices weren't high enough before the flags! Anyway enough ranting, I can only wish England the best of luck in the coming few weeks!
